The Stone Path to Madness
Set a foot into a dungeon to find an artifact that can change your life...
Story
Based on information you gathered, a powerful artifact you are searching for is here, in this dungeon. In one of it's numerous rooms.
Goal
To win, you must clear a certain amount of rooms. You may use coins to decrease this amount, or spend them on equipment instead.
Gameplay
Manage your inventory and fight monsters, strategically choose weapons and items from chests. Chests always have one more item than you can fit in your inventory.
Endings
There are two endings. You may or may not reach the good ending accidentally, but if not, the bad ending screen will give you a hint on how to get it.
STRATEGY TIPS
- The best shield you have in your inventory will automatically be used. You don't have to equip or 'use' it manually.
- This means having more than one shield will not increase your defense.
- Don't underestimate dagger. Each weapon has it's use.
- Monsters HP range from 2 to 5. I'ts possible to estimate it by how a monster looks.
- You can move items in your inventory using 'INVENTORY' option... if there's no monster in the room trying to kill you.
- The less items you have in your inventory, the more items there will be in chest!
- Therefore, try to use potions as soon as you need, increasing potential loot amount.
- Dead monsters don't fight back! Use shuriken before your main Attack to prevent unnecessary damage.
- As a rule of thumb, the price you sell your items for is the number of slots the item takes (1 or 2).
- A single bag of coins keeps all your money. But sometimes it may be worth it to discard it in favor of another, more valuable item.
- Discarding 'bag of coins' discards all your coins.
- If you pick up some coins while not having a 'bag of coins ' item, it will appear again. (It's coins that take space after all, not a pouch).
- Try attacking slimes multiple times per turn. Axes seem to deal no more damage than fists to them.
- Avoid touching fire. Use shuriken for ranged attacks.
"One Too Many" Jam Theme: Chest always generates items in a way that 1 item will not fit.
Try to use this to your advantage!

Nice little game. I love the simplicity of the combat. Would be cool to see this become a bigger game! Do wish the rooms somehow had more "life" to them.
